Adequacy an Equity in Education Finance: How can K-12 Contexts Inform Higher Education?

We demonstrate similarities and differences in the legal, economic, and measurement contexts between the two educational settings. Second, we evaluate whether and under what circumstances K-12 funding policies provide useful insights for higher education policymaking. Finally, we conclude with a summary of considerations that higher education policymakers, researchers, and other interested parties should bear in mind when drawing lessons from K-12 finance.
