Student Success Research-Practice Symposium

Beginning in 2021, the SSTAR Lab will host an annual Student Success Research-Practice Symposium. This event is designed to bring financial aid and student success practitioners together to learn about research. It also provides participants the opportunity to share and discuss promising strategies based on their own work and share pain points with researchers.

The objectives of the Student Success Research-Practice Symposium are to:
  • foster relationships and develop new research-practice partnerships
  • lessen the divide between research and practice
  • provide context and contacts for ongoing research to practitioners
  • connect influential researchers with practitioners to get recommendations into the field

This year’s event will be virtual and will take place on May 26th from 8am-3pm CST.

This year’s event is by invitation only. If you are interested in more information about the Symposium, email us at contact@sstar.wisc.edu.
